After logging more blog posts than innings pitched last season, former Boston Red Sox’ ace Curt Schilling has decided to call it a career. Most famous for his bloody sock in the 2004 ALCS against the rival Yankees, Schilling earned the right to retire in Boston. And that $8 million the Red Sox paid him last season not to pitch at all definitely won’t hurt his IRA.
