Animals introduce germ warfare

Eating monkeys, as it turns out, may not be the healthiest thing for you–unless your idea of health is illness. We know, this sounds like crazy talk, but we feel it is our job to tell you about this concern.

According to a CNN report, people in Africa have turned to eating the local monkey population because of the rising price of food. In some respects, this is good news, because now the people, without incentives from Big Government, are going out and taking the fight to the animals–and winning!

On the other hand, some of these warriors are getting some pretty nasty diseases like monkeypox, which, like chickenpox, can only be caught from contact with its namesake.

So, if you happen to be in Africa and you’re on a safari or scrounging for food or whatever, do not eat monkeys, no matter how tasty they look. However, it’s perfectly OK to kill them. They are our enemies after all, and we must stop their attempts at germ warfare.

  1. I want to categorically reject the claims that the reason why there is the pandemic of HIV prevalence around the world is because Africans have been feeding on monkeys or other animals from the forest.

I have to say, such a study is too subjective, baseless, senseless and an insult to African traditional cultures. These are the types of scientific ideologies which the Americans and Europeans brought into Africa during the colonial days and destroyed the lives of many traditional Africans that were living very happily together.

I really doubt if the authors of such studies realize that the killing and eating of bush meet (monkeys included) has been and is still a way of life at all corners of the world that started thousands of years ego? I also doubt if this so called scientist made an effort to capture some traditional African knowledge and how far back they people of Africa started eating bush meet? Any normal person with the slightest ability to think will understand that leaving from the resources of the forests has always been a way of life in all communities found around forest regions around the world. Thus, why single out west and central Africa and attribute the origin of HIV to? Or is the reason because these unethical scientists are located in West Africa?

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that these days animals in the bush are not infected with viruses that can be transmitted to humans. But I can and will never agree to the fact that these diseases originated in Africa.

If one compares the life styles of the forest villages in the South American rain forests, those in African rain forests as well as people leaving in the remote parts of Australia, New Zealand and in Asia, you will realize that they all depend on the resources from the forests (including killing and eating wild animals) for the survival.

I want to conclude my comments by referring to this stupid study as an act of disrespect and racisms from some people of the western world to Africans.

Apparently, it would have not been a surprise if the western world had brought the SARS virus that recently wreaks havoc on China into Africa. I guess, it will not have made any sense after they had already introduced the HIV and Ebola viruses into Africa.

I am certain most of you must have come across many Hollywood movies, investigative journalism articles that have proven that all these viruses were manufactured by American and European laboratories to be used as biological weapons and decided to carry out test trials in Africa.

Some time ego, the origin of this virus was attributed to gay people in the western world. Note that homosexuality has never been a culture in Africa until Americans and Europeans brought it with them to Africa.

I just want to end by encouraging readers not to be blindfold to believing the contents of this stupid article.

  2. I don’t believe the manufactued conspiracy theory of western world testing in Africa. Neither do I believe Afica is at fault for these viruses. The west has animal to human transmission of virus, some deadly such as a wasting disease from deer (found naturally and hunted by locals in our forests)it is a spongiform disease much the same as mad cow. The SARS is thought to come from caveat cats that are wild and comsummed in Asia. The biggest fact that is missed about aids is that the virus that jumped from monkeys was SV40 and polio vaccines were cultured in monkey kidney cells then introduced into unsuspecting children world wide.

My thoughts are that we shouldn’t be killing animals and eating them most of our worst illness are from this practice. We could feed the world if we all became vegetarians start reading some of John Robbins books although dated still very true. We shouldn’t be adding animal cells into vaccines and into our bodies!

It just takes some common sense globally we need to make decisions not based on money and market but on wha tis best for the world. Just a footnote here we also shouldn’t be using food crops for bio fuels we need to feed people more than cars. Especially when there are alternatives like algae to pruduce bio fuels.

We need to be willing to change our ways and educate those when need to learn and change for a better world.
