Some of the time, we enjoy genetic mutations. Not so much the type that give ordinary turtles silly Italian names, but more along the lines of aesthetic difference. Think more albino python than poisonous python.

That’s why we enjoy finding creatures like the yellow lobster. The mutation doesn’t give it any special powers or a stronger carapace, it’s just a different color.

A brighter color, if you will.

One of these one in 30 million creatures was found at a New York Wegmans, waiting to be eaten by customers. The store donated the creature to an aquarium. While we’re normally big fans of capitalism, we respect the ability to study the enemy and thus learn more about them.
