Eat My Sports: Get a cab

With another week and another NFL tragedy, the league is faced with a problem, not an epidemic, that it needs to address. Too many times we have to hear and read about professional athletes getting hit with the three letters that are more famous than the ones on the shield, DUI.

The problem lies with the fact that these billionaire athletes have a free car service that is available to them 24-7. And their egos are too big to call. The league however, doesn’t help it’s own cause, because they have no punishments in place for offenders.

And that’s the main thing that needs to change. If Roger Goodell really is as dead set on protecting his brand as he says he is, then he needs to stop fining people for hits on the field, and start suspending the ones that are posing a bigger threat to society. Stop coddling the players and start protecting the people that fill the stands.

Top five games you can bet on this week

Apparently everything is bigger in Texas except for Houston’s big boy pants.
3. Atlanta Falcons (11-2)
And the Falcons wondered why everyone doubted them.

Don’t call it a comeback, Peyton Manning.

Texans blew a big chance to prove they’re on the level of New England, and that means wearing women’s boots like one Tom Brady.
