In space, no one can hear your ramblings

Space, so we’re told, is a very peaceful. You have a nice view of the Earth, you get to go outside for a stroll, even some lucky few have walked on the moon. But they don’t talk about what happens to you when you go into space: you go crazy.

That’s right, it happens to a select few, but they get space dementia, which we all know is totally real. Case in point: Edgar Mitchell, a former astronaut best known for orbiting the moon on Apollo 14, said yesterday that UFOs are real and the U.S. government is covering them up.

Another former astronaut, Harrison Schmitt, who walked on the moon on Apollo 17, says that global warming is fake. He claims that science is being intimidated into supporting global warming because the scientists need their funding. Say, is this why no one really ever hears from Neil Armstrong?

  1. And…global warming is all about cap and trade
and carbon tax offsets. I was willing to
consider global warming until I noticed the
shrill contempt, derision, scorn, outrage, and
very vicious personal attacks made against global warming (ahem…now Climate Change) skeptics.

I thought to myself, man, there has got to be a
massive tax scheme behind all this as the left
froths at the mouth when challenged on global
    warming and DAMN…if I was not right ! !!!

This is all about curtaining industrial wealth
and sending what we do make to the 3rd world
so they can extort industry for the off sets
    and credits.

  2. In regards to global warming. There is no evidence that the palnet is not warming slowly, The question is whether or not human activity on this planet is a factor in this increase. Global temperatures rise and fall very slowly over time based on complex natural rhythms based on short and long time scales ie; earths orbit, precession of the orbital spin, solar cycles etc. Do carbon dioxide levels have an effect on these long term cycles or are they a result of long term climactic trends. We do not need conspiracy therorists here but open discourse free of jargon and baseless comments.

  3. The religious right could not handle the truth about others our there. It would throw the whole god thing in the garbage where it belongs. We are not long out of the cave. Look around at what is happening on this planet. Look around at the damage we have done, not only to the planet itself but the animals as well. We raise them and then slaughter them to eat. We are nothing more than parasites on this earth. Its clearly evident from our behavior towards one another and anything else that breathes. We are on a course of self destruction, the planet will survive somehow but we won’t. Its just the way it is, unless we get off and go somewhere else to live, and ultimately ruin it. In order for the planet to live on, we need to be gone and let it replenish itself.

Our sheer ignorance stands in the way of recognizing that of course there is life on other planets, probably more advanced.Looking around, would you want to want to have anything to do with us, if you visited? I think not.
