You must be this bipedal to gamble

We don’t like animals. We certainly don’t like animals when they threaten the lives of citizens around the world. And let me tell you what: we definitely don’t like animals that think they’re allowed to gamble.

Not just with the lives of human beings, but with legal tender.

A two year old cougar walked into a Reno casino this past weekend. Worst still, it’s being speculated that the felonious feline didn’t enter the gambling hall in order to gamble, but to play the slots. And kidswe ain’t talking about the machines.

Like the ungrateful creature that he was, the cat was ready to go and attack, even when he was released back into the wild. Blaming the merciful when you screw up? Poor taste indeed, cougar.

Warrior of the Week: Some British Columbian guy

When you go out into the forest, you know the enemy is watching. They are everywhere. From the birds reporting on your position to the mosquitoes harassing you so you can’t make a clear decision. However, we all know the risks of running into a wild animal, you know, the big kind.

That’s exactly what happened to a man from British Columbia (which is neither British, nor Colombian) last week. The 21-year old man was trying to hitchhike when he ran into a cougar, which he quickly decided did not want to give him a lift. The cougar watched him from a perch above and followed him as he walked. He called his girlfriend, who called police, as the cougar got closer. Finally, the man broke into a run and the cougar gave chase.

The ferocious cougar pounced on the man in an instant. It didn’t look good for our hero, but he grabbed a rock and bashed the cougar over the head until it ran off. Get this: the man was unhurt.

Friday morning eye opener

Good morning, Internet. This blog has seen its fair share of those random text-based ads you see on web pages, e-mail messages and search engines. Sometimes they are interesting, most of the time they are irrelevant (except, of course, for any of our advertisers), but sometimes they can be shocking.

Recently, this blog came across a Web site called DateACougar.com (link may not be SFW, but there is no nudity) and we were shocked! How could anyone even think of dating a ferocious animal like a cougar cougar? Last time we checked, cougars are animals and we happen to be at war with animals!

Nevertheless, for some reason this site seems to be popular with women in their 40s and 50s, as well as younger men. One can choose to search through profiles to find a man, a cougar or a couple (of humans, we assume). This is just sick!

Remember folks, just because she may have a pretty smile, wag her tail and even purr when you walk in the room does not make it OK to date outside of your species–no matter how luscious those felines may look!
