Get civil, motherf@%kers

The University of Arizona created the National Institute for Civil Discourse on Monday, “a nonpartisan center for debate, research, education and policy generation regarding civility in public discourse.”

To prove its bipartisan credentials, the newly created think-tank will be chaired by former U.S. presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, who each famously promoted civility by trading arms to Iranians to fund guerrilla wars in South America and giving long, uncomfortable hugs, respectively.

Just the outcome you’d expect

The descendants of legendary Apache, Geronimo, found out what happens when you sue a notorious secret society that has included two of the last four presidents in its ranks: the case never makes it to trial.

The family attempted to sue Skull and Bones, Yale University for the theft of Geronimo’s remains. They were rumored to have been stolen by Prescott Bush and later used by his son, George H.W. Bush, and grandson, George W. Bush, to snort various drugs and do things that aren’t necessarily gay if you’re wearing a cowl and will one day rule the world.

Unfortunately, Judge Richard Roberts dismissed the suit because the world’s most famous Native American doesn’t count as a Native American artifact because he was “excavated or discovered before 1990.” (Which seems to imply that the theft of a federal grave equals “excavation or discovery.”)

This leaves Geronimo’s family one option: body raid at Yale!

Pleasant greeting avoids egg on face

"Shouldn't throw things at the President, wouldn't be prudent."President Barack Obama has accepted former President George H.W. Bush’s (the older one) invitation to Texas A&M University to celebrate volunteerism.

However, conservative Aggies are plan “to make sure Obama gets a very clear TEXAS-SIZED MESSAGE to stop the liberal assault” [emphasis Texans’].

The L.A. Times is concerned because, last year, Aggies threw eggs at a cardboard cut-out of Obama while running for office.

In fact, Bush the Elder even wrote a letter to the school urging them to give the President a warm Aggie welcome. While it was wise of him to speak to Aggies like Kindergarten students, will it work?

But seriously … a young liberal President accused of socialism and reparations visiting Texas? What could possibly go wrong?
