Take it from Snee: Pros and cons of surviving 2011

Whenever I approach a new year, I like to take stock of what I survived. I like to think of myself less as a time traveler stuck in forward linear motion at an uninterruptible rate and more of a time warrior, cleaning out the runners of my time sword as I prepare to skewer another year.

One The Decision leads to another

New Jersey Nets star (which may be the greatest euphemism in sports history) Deron Williams has found a silver lining to the NBA lockout cloud: he will be taking his talent to Turkey.

His European season with the Besiktas will begin in September and end whenever either (a) the lockout is ended or (b) he looks around and realizes the league is jive.
