We may be winning the war on animals, but it sure is taking its toll on us, financially.
- Zebra mussels are artificially raising water bills in North Texas. The shellfish have been infesting themselves in lakes that’s causing a significant drop in the water supply.
- Emergency and 911 calls are never cheap. A turtle tricked a woman into calling the emergency notification system in Florida and now SeaWorld will be footing the bill for its rehabilitation.
- In Colorado, a black bear raided a chocolate store. This can only result in Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory raising their prices and passing the pain of their store being ransacked by a goonish animal onto you.
This war has officially transitioned into one of attrition. With our economic times still being lower than they need to be, we need to finish this battle quickly.
