Zoinks! VW minibus, like, returns

We reported yesterday that the U.S. Supreme Court has approved the use of dead men’s words in court cases.

So what? So this: Volkswagen just relaunched the minibus. The Mystery Machine is back. Coupled with Monday’s decision, the world has made it very clear that the crimes of the dead will no longer be tolerated, even if the ghost was really Old Man Jenkins all along.

Easily the crappiest car to date

By now, everyone is aware that, while, we’re not exactly in an energy crisis, we do need to find alternative energy sources. As well, I’m sure that everyone is aware of the adage “look inward” when attempting to solve problems. The Toyota Prius aside, not all of the hybrids are that bad. Tesla’s, in fact, are quite awesome. Unfortunately, they’re missing just one thing-they’re just good cars.

Clearly, they’re not crappy enough vehicles. The Bio-Bug would like to change that opinion. Why so? Because it’s powered by poop.

Really.

The base theory behind the cars is that using them would help us reduce carbon emissions, since we’re reusing carbon that’s already been released, and thus help us reduce dependence on gas as well. You know, since that’s already been released as well. It’s currently being tested in Britain only, but who knows what a successful future could lead for it? When this car is brought to America, though, it’ll be a golden age for Taco Bell and Chinese buffets nationwide.

Shouldn’t there be a witty VW Beetle with a microphone or something?

The Germans gave us the highway and they gave us some pretty nice cars to go along with it. (Unfortunately, the cars are so complicated that they are fixed by import specialists for a lot of money, but that’s not really here nor there.) The Germans are also very, very good at obeying authority, so naturally, we think they are great drivers.

Well, not all of them are, apparently. One German woman got into three car accidents in one single hour. This is normally a feat reserved for bumper cars, but the 69 year-old woman rose to the occasion and got some help along the way. First off, she drove into three cars in a supermarket parking lot, then she drove into a house.

When the medics came to treat her, they had to take her to the hospital. On the way, the ambulance was hit by a truck.
