That’s what kids are for

OK, so it turns out that little Caylee Anthony may not have disappeared so much as been murdered by her mother, according to reports.

Cue the moral outrage from the masses.

Yes, folks on the Internet, we get it: killing kids is bad. But what if it’s your kid? Are you going to let an entire community of people who can’t use the correct version of “there, their or they’re” tell you to raise–or not raise–your kid?

What if you know your kid is evil? (For the sake of argument, you went to a fortune teller.) Because Caylee was taken from us so young, we’ll never know if she was going to cure cancer or become the President of the United States or the next Hitler.

This blog exists on one principle: our parents brought us into the world, and they can take us back out. Let’s not go to crazy with reforming these child “murder” laws.

  1. No one has the right to decide who lives and dies.Just because we bring children into the world does not mean that we can take them out of the world and anyone who thinks otherwise is a sick person that need help!

  2. I told my wife, this guy can’t be serious. He has to be saying this to get a rise out of people. She is convinced you are serious and just very sick. In any event your an idiot, I like sick lame humor but when you include children into it, its just wrong. If I were religious I would pray you burn in hell, but I’m not, so heres to Karma.

  3. Wow man, you need a grip. Have a kid of your own and tell me you could really “take him or her out of this world”.
I’ll be the first to admit,my kid is a rotten little brat some days, but that does not mean Id hurt him.
Look hard at the mother in this situation…did you catch the pictures of her out kissing another woman when her daughter was “missing”? You’d think she would at least show some remorse, not go boff a cop, run out and party, steal her moms credit cards and have a good time.
As for you…get over yourself, get a grip on reality, and grow up.

  4. Hmmm, well, that’s an interesting angle to look at this. I DO think murdering a child should be a felony offense, though I’m not altogether sure what you mean by “reforming” child murder laws. Don’t you go to jail for killing another person anyway, child or not? Are you suggesting that parents ought to be given the right to legally end their childs life? Mothers already DO have this legal option. There’s a stipulation though. She, the mother, has to kill the child at just a certain time, otherwise she won’t get away with it.

If poor little Caylee had been three years younger, her mother would have gotten a pat on the back from women’s rights groups instead of death threats from the general public. But now all of a sudden, she is considered a murderer. The hypocrisy in this society is truly amazing.

  5. As far as the bounty hunter who posted bail, well, I have to give him credit. He was willing to try a different approach, and give this woman a chance. She complained early on that no one, mainly the police, were willing to listen to her. Though I tend to believe her concerning the cops not listening, she can’t say she wasn’t at least given a chance by this Padilla character.

I have to also give him kudos for being willing to use his own money instead of trying to convince or force someone else into using THEIR money when it came to putting it where his mouth was.

  6. I’m not going to give you the satisfaction of telling you how sick you are, because that is what you want to hear. I am however going to tell you that your parents should “take you out” for making a comment like that.

You clearly have not grown up, and I doubt you will ever make such a stride. I can only hope that you never reproduce.

I have a much different opinion. Please visit my blog and share your thoughts. My intent is to fwd the thread to the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office.

    Thanks!

  8. There are numberous errors in the police reports and conclusions. None of the results the police have received CONFIRM the little girl’s death.

    Here’s why:

*Hair doesn’t quickly show signs of decomposition. It lasts for years before it breaks down.
*DNA results are virtually the same for a mom and daughter.
*The air samples from UT’s lab detects chemical signatures, not necessarily decomposition.
*Cadavers dog hit on spoilage, not just cadavers.

  9. I can’t believe you think Rick Snee is serious. It’s obviously a joke. Jeeez people, get a grip.

And Nancy Grace (nice name), Cadaver dogs hit on HUMAN remains, not rotting pizza or dead animals.

And cells from hair follicles do not take years to break down.

  10. LISTEN UP RICK SNEED – WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? WHAT EXACTLY WAS YOUR POINT WITH THAT VILLAGE IDIOT DISCOURSE? IN FUTURE, TRY TO MAKE SENSE, OKAY?
Furthermore, you prime cut mental case moron…when abuse is committed against a child at the hands of a parent…IT MOST DEFINITELY IS THE COMMUNITY’S RESPONSIBILITIES TO MAKE IT STOP…AND YES, REFORM CHILD MURDER LAWS. And by the way, how the hell did you get an editorial on the CNN website? Are they trying to “ruin” their own reputation. WTF!

  11. * Air samples detect only chemical signatures, not decomposition ????

WRONG! They most certainly DO detect decomposition …which exude gases ONLY when a body rots. Village idiot!

    * Cadavers dog hit on spoilage, not just cadavers?
WRONG AGAIN! It depends on how you TRAIN THE DOG! So you don’t need to waste your time QUESTIONING the dog trainers, because they are the experts…not you!

  12. I Think rick is as sick as caylee’s mother and family!! NoONe has the right to take a life!! anyone who thinks so is stupid!!! Life is meant to live and be judged by jesus not mad!! NO child can every harm anyone enough to take their lives. You go through months of caring a child and then you think one day, he or she too bad! ( So you just kill them) Come on now, THINK About That Baby! Who asked her!! What about all the women who want kids and can’t have them, let them be a parent and love that child, because, Anthony sure as hell didn’t!! thanks for listening!!
